Memphis/Shelby County Radio System Issues

Many of you have noticed that you haven’t been able to listen to the Memphis/SC radio system lately. This is because the control channels have changed for the system, partially due to interference issues and also with the current “rebanding” project that is underway.

Important!

You must enter all of the control channel frequencies in your scanner while the system is undergoing rebanding. Failure to do so will result in your scanner not picking up all of the traffic. This is due to the radio system frequently changing control channels.


The additional control channel frequencies are 854.5875 and 854.5375. Add these (in addition to the current control channels) into the bank(s) that you have programmed for the Memphis/SC system, and you should be back to business.
